Today Secondary students celebrated Diwali, all students were encouraged to learn and share information with each other about Diwali. Posters were put up around school informing students about the Hindu festival of lights. Students even got involved by decorating the ground outside Lentz using multi-coloured chalk.

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights celebrated in Autumn each year. Diwali spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.

St George's embraces all cultures and encourages all students to get involved to celebrate and share knowledge on all different traditions.
