Posted 20/03/2019 11:58
On Monday 18th the GCSE year 11 and A level Art students turned the Barthel hall into a giant dark room and had a one day photography work shop with the Scottish photographer David Gilliver.
David flew over from Glasgow to teach the art students how to paint with light using different techniques and a range of LED lights, glow sticks and other specialised equipment that he had bought with him.
It was an amazing days work and the students will be able to use their photographs as part of their Reflections GCSE exam preparation and A level coursework. You will be able to see them in this year’s art exhibition at the end of May.
